Dispensary monthly KPI meeting preparation

Executive Administration

A monthly KPI meeting should help an operator decide what to inspect or change next. It should not turn incomplete data into a performance story.
Write the decision the meeting needs to support before collecting metrics. List the reporting period, locations, source systems, filters, and known data gaps. The cannabis CEO task delegation framework can help turn decisions into owned actions. Use the month-end admin checklist to gather recurring operational inputs.
Check date ranges, duplicate records, late entries, and changes in definitions. Label estimates and unavailable fields. Never compare two periods without recording whether the same method was used.
Pair each measure with relevant events such as closures, staffing changes, system outages, or policy changes when documented. Avoid attributing a cause that the records do not establish.
For each discussion item, show the source, observation, open question, owner, and next review date. The U.S. Small Business Administration planning guidance offers general planning structure, not dispensary-specific benchmarks.
Save the source extracts, agenda, decision notes, and follow-up list together. At the next meeting, begin with what was completed and what evidence remains outstanding.
