Dispensary equipment maintenance calendar

Maintenance becomes manageable when every asset has an owner, service interval, evidence location, and escalation path. A calendar should support the procedure, not replace it.
List the asset ID, location, required check, interval, last completion, next due date, vendor, and failure response. The equipment maintenance log captures the completion evidence. Use the shift handoff template to communicate equipment that affects operations.
Record the observed condition, time, affected process, temporary control, and person notified. Do not return equipment to service based only on a verbal assurance when the procedure requires inspection or testing.
Review overdue work and repeated failures by asset. Replace a calendar rule when the manufacturer or safety procedure changes.
OSHA’s maintenance safety resources provide authoritative general context for safe work controls.
Name the facilities role and an operating backup; the vendor may perform work but should not own internal acceptance.
