Privacy PolicyTerms of Service

DispensaryVA provides administrative support only. Licensed operators, authorized managers, and qualified professionals retain all regulatory, product, clinical, financial, and legal decisions.

An access review asks whether each account still needs its current permissions. List systems, roles, accounts, managers, and access levels, while keeping passwords and secrets out of the review.

Use the month-end admin checklist as a recurring review point. Communicate urgent changes through the shift handoff template.

Resolve exceptions

Remove accounts without a business need through the approved process. Reduce excessive permissions, document temporary access expiry, and escalate accounts that cannot be attributed to an owner. Keep approval and completion evidence.

Review recurring exceptions by system and role. If access changes are delayed, clarify the joiner, mover, and leaver workflow rather than relying on a reminder.

NIST’s role-based access control guidance is an authoritative reference for access concepts.

FAQ

How often should access be reviewed?

Set a cadence based on system risk and policy, and review immediately after role changes.
