Dispensary website internal linking plan

Internal links help readers move from a specific question to the next useful resource. They also help the team see whether the site has a clear structure or a pile of disconnected articles.
Group pages into operations, compliance administration, staffing, finance, customer service, and marketing. Give each group a practical hub. A new article should have one primary question and a small number of links that answer the next question a reader is likely to have.
Write the link so a reader knows where it goes. "Daily closeout checklist" is more useful than "click here." Keep the anchor natural in the sentence and make sure the destination still supports it after future edits.
Hub pages should point to useful spokes, and spokes should return to the hub when the relationship is real. Add a service link when the reader may need operational help, but do not insert a service link into every paragraph. Relevance matters more than volume.
Export pages with no internal links and assign an owner. The fix may be a link from a hub, a merge into a stronger article, or a deliberate decision to keep the page out of the main path. Record the decision so future writers do not repeat the audit.
